What exactly is included in the setup fee?
The setup fee covers everything required to go live: discovery call, knowledge base creation, AI training, conversation flow design, website build (if applicable), testing, and launch. It's a one-time payment — there's no additional per-hour charge for any of this work.
What does the monthly fee pay for?
Active management of your chatbot. Every month we review real conversations, update the knowledge base when anything changes, add new Q&A pairs based on what visitors are asking, monitor performance, and handle hosting/infrastructure. It's not just keeping the lights on — someone is actively working on your chatbot every month.
Is there a minimum contract period?
No. Our plans are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime with 30 days notice. We don't lock you in because we believe the results should be reason enough to stay.
How long does setup actually take?
Most clients are live within 5–7 business days of the discovery call. The timeline depends on how quickly you provide feedback on the chatbot during the review phase. If you respond promptly, we can often go live faster.
Do I need a website to get started?
No. If you don't have a website, or if your current one is outdated, we include a professional website as part of the plan. If you already have a site you're happy with, the chatbot installs directly onto it — just reach out and we'll work with what you have.
What platforms does the chatbot work with?
The chatbot works on any website — WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, custom HTML sites, React/Next.js, and anything else. Installation is a small code snippet added to your site. If you already have a developer managing your site, we can coordinate with them.
What if I already have a website I like?
Great — we can work with it. The chatbot installs on any existing site with a small code snippet. If you're happy with your current site, there's no need to rebuild. Just book a call and we'll assess the best setup for your situation.
What happens when the chatbot doesn't know how to answer something?
If a visitor asks something outside the chatbot's knowledge base, it acknowledges the question honestly, collects the visitor's contact information, and flags it to you via email notification. It never guesses or makes up an answer. We then add that question to the knowledge base so it's handled correctly next time.
Can I see what the chatbot says before it goes live?
Yes — always. Before launch, you test the chatbot yourself. Ask it anything. If there's anything you want changed — the tone, a specific answer, how it handles a certain question — we make those changes before going live. Nothing is published without your approval.
How do I receive the leads?
Two ways: you get an immediate email notification the moment a lead comes in, with the visitor's name, contact info, and a summary of the conversation. You can also log into your private leads dashboard at any time to see all leads and full chat histories.
What if I need to update the chatbot between monthly maintenance cycles?
Just email us. Updates outside the regular cycle are included — if your prices change, you add a service, or you need something adjusted, we do it. There's no extra charge for these kinds of updates.
Are the marketing add-ons required?
No. They're entirely optional. Most clients start with just the core chatbot or website + chatbot. Marketing add-ons are for businesses ready to actively scale their lead volume through paid advertising or SEO.
